The Man

He’s man of few words, takes his time to speak

But when he does, his words weigh heavy 

They hold power, power and wisdom

To smile, to laugh, to love, to see the world with new eyes

To the outsider he may look like another ordinary soul

But to those who know him he certainly isn’t

He goes above and beyond 

Small sacrifices and small gestures of kindness 

Each day they do not go unnoticed

If there was a definition of a saint 

He would be the poster and the frame itself 

But it’s the kindest souls that go unnoticed

But for today, he will be remembered
