What does it take to save a life?

I’ll tell you what it took to save mine. 

It takes people. Willing to care. Strangers together working in unison. 

It took a brother who was willing to support me and it took a couple who was willing to cry with me. It took a young woman who was willing to listen and it took an Officer who was willing to care. It took a dean who was willing to sit down and talk and another who was willing to sacrifice her time. It took a man who was willing to call and to drive to the hospital. It took a nurse who was sympathetic and it took a patient who actually cared. 

It took so much and so little. So don’t forget that your actions can influence the outcome of someone’s life.
